Ventflowuk is undertaking the supply, installation and commissioning of ventilation systems as part of a £23 million extra care housing development in Guilford, Surrey.

The scheme comprises of 59 one and two bedroom extra care apartments, together with a range of communal facilities, designed to support independent living for older residents within a high quality, purpose built environment.

Working under the principal contractor CField Construction, Ventflowuk’s scope includes installation of high efficiency Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery systems, providing controlled, continuous ventilation to support excellent indoor air quality, occupant comfort and energy efficient performance. All systems are being installed and commissioned in accordance with current building regulations and the specific requirement of extra care accommodation.

This project further strengthens Ventflowuk’s experience within the care and supported living sector, delivering compliant, reliable ventilation solutions tailored to environments  where resident wellbeing is paramount.
